ABOUT IAPNM

The International Association on Public and Nonprofit Marketing (IAPNM) / Asociación Internacional de Marketing Público y No Lucrativo (AIMPN) is a nonprofit professional society established in 2002 looking for a stable networking platform for academics and practitioners from marketing or other related disciplines who are concerned with or interested in these knowledge fields as well as in any other issue dealing with responsibility in businesses, administrations and nonprofits. It aims to contribute to the establishment of the adequate bases for an integrated, responsible and sustainable socio-economic development model worldwide.

 

At present, the Association promotes the following main events:

Ÿ The International Congress on Public and Nonprofit Marketing is a yearly event hosted by major universities or scientific institutes that provides a friendly atmosphere and a professional working environment for the presentation and discussion of latest progresses and developments in the above-mentioned areas. The Congress also provides a productive meeting point to nurture co-operative projects at international level.

Ÿ The IAPNM LATAM Congress on Social Marketing (Congreso IAPNM LATAM de Marketing Social) is also a yearly event aimed to the presentation and discussion of latest progresses and developments in the field. It is hosted by major Latin-American universities or scientific institutes with Spanish and Portuguese as main working languages.

Ÿ The International Congress on Teaching Cases Related to Public and Nonprofit Marketing is a yearly discussion forum which aims joint participation of teachers and students revealing their concerns about the diverse aspects related to the responsible and/or sustainable character of the activities carried out by entrepreneurs, businesses, administrations and nonprofits. At this purpose participants are asked to develop and present their own case studies highlighting outstanding examples of good and not so good practices.

 

Additionally to Congress Proceedings, the Association also develops a publishing activity including:

Ÿ The International Review on Public and Nonprofit Marketing is the official IAPNM publication since 2004, a double-blind peer reviewed journal with three issues a year in partnership with the Springer Group, which constitutes a compulsory reference for those who devote their research or interest to the fields of public and nonprofit marketing.

Ÿ Responsibility and Sustainability is a quarterly double-blind peer reviewed e-journal supported by IAPNM on the fields of responsibility and/or sustainability from a multidisciplinary perspective, combining socioeconomic, political and legal views. It is published since 2013 by the Research Group on Marketing and Operative Research at the University of León (Spain), the Research Unit in Business Sciences at the University of Beira Interior (Portugal) and the Institute of Business Studies at the University of Szeged (Hungary).

Ÿ IAPNM also performs as publishing partner for Contemporary Research on Organizations Management and Administration, an annual double-blind peer reviewed journal published since 2013 by the Academic Association of Management and Administration (Lithuania) and the School of Economics and Management in Public Administration in Bratislava (Slovak Republic).
